This small collection of paintings continues in the style and concept as "Narrative inexactitude" but with a theme relating to the emotional role of nurturing that is layered on top of identity of wife, mother, and teacher. This work explores the dark humor in when the images betray those assumptions as seen in "These arms can not hold you," the notion that the disembodied parts can not embrace one's need for comfort, they can not cook your dinner either because they are dinner, is as disturbing as it is absurd.
