AP Studio art students recent paintings.

Art 2: Update:  Students in action: Spring 2017 large-scale paintings in progress.

Art 2: update:  Some of the final large-scale paintings for spring 2017.   These acrylics on canvas paintings clock in at 24″X36″ an impressive scale for their second painting assignment. 

Students from all art courses have started to submit art work for the art show at the Monterey Airport.  Stay tuned…as we will have updates on the opening  and artists.

Student Art Show

Student art show: grades 9-12 

ART II begins to critique their small abstract paintings.

ART II explores abstraction, Students studied the art of; Grace Hartigan, Joan Mitchell and Helen Frankenthaler the most renown female artists  of the abstract expressionists.

Students are experimenting with, paint application, color relationships, texture, gesture.
