Ceramics students finish hand building their large scale project and embark upon their wheel work.

ART II begins to critique their small abstract paintings.

ART II explores abstraction, Students studied the art of; Grace Hartigan, Joan Mitchell and Helen Frankenthaler the most renown female artists  of the abstract expressionists.

Students are experimenting with, paint application, color relationships, texture, gesture.

ART II Students studied the figure this fall, Class begun with warms ups of 1 minute drawings alternating their right and left hand for drawing.  Final Projects incorporating the figure conclude this unit of study.
